May 3, 2017:  Brownie Troop 1508, third-graders at The Bronxville School, are using their annual cookie sale to contribute to The Community Fund. Troop member Michaela Doheny said, "Brownies are helpers, and it's nice to be able to sell our cookies and help people at the same time."

To reach their goal of donating $1,000 to The Community Fund, the troop will have a cookie booth in front of Value Drugs on Sunday, May 7, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The Community Fund was founded in 1919 to support qualified agencies and programs that provide vital services within Bronxville 10708, Eastchester, and Tuckahoe. The organization currently supports 26 social service agencies and community programs. In addition to funding, The Community Fund also provides administrative support to the agencies it supports through ongoing site visits, consultations, workshops, and forums.
