Nov. 4, 2020: On Monday, November 2, Governor Cuomo provided an update on COVID-19 in New York State.
He started by saying that there is a "COVID surge" around the country and in states contiguous to New York. He said that New Yorkers should be "even more diligent, because the virus spreads across state boundaries, and we're in the party season."
He described it as "dangerous times all around" and said, "we need to stay vigilant."
The Governor noted that "the positive testing rate in all focus areas under the state's Micro-Cluster strategy is 3.50 percent, and outside the focus zone areas is 1.48 percent."
As of Sunday, November 1, the percentage of positive test reported in the Mid Hudson region, which includes Bronxville, is 2.6%.
Below is the Westchester County COVID Map as of November 4, 2020 which shows that COVID cases in Bronxville have jumped to 4 from the previous level of 1.
