Perfect is the enemy of good
But why?
For beauty is not imperfect
It merely inspires.
Nature’s cascade of color unfolds each spring in its own fashion.
So even the white lily with its purple streaks heralds growth anew
With its verdant leaves that transition from light to brilliant
Never the same but always inspires
The young lilly closed with anticipation of hope gradually opens
With its ragged petal that is silken and shimmery
Gracefully embracing the touch of the sun
Perfection confines
Imperfection inspires
