Bronxville Non-Partisan Committee Invites Village Residents to Apply to Serve on ARC Committee to Review Rules and Procedures
Written by Steve Kraemer, Vice Chairperson, Committee for the Non-Partisan Nomination and Election of School Trustees

Dec. 24, 2014: The Bronxville Committee for the Non-Partisan Nomination and Election of School Trustees (NPC) announces the search for members to its Advisory Review Committee (ARC). The ARC convenes at least every four years to review the rules, procedures, and effectiveness of the NPC.
Community members wishing to serve on the 2015 ARC may submit an indication of interest to the email address given below by January 31, 2015. The 2015 ARC will consist of seven members from Bronxville who have been involved in school- and community-related functions. The last ARC convened in 2012, and past members are listed on the NPC website (www.bronxvillenpc.com).
The objective of the ARC is to keep the processes of NPC effective and up to date. The ARC will seek feedback from the Bronxville community as to areas in which they believe that the NPC procedures and/or rules could be improved. Before submitting a formal report in May of 2015, members of the ARC will meet, both in public and private, from January through April. Past ARC reports can be reviewed on the NPC website.
Indications of interest to serve on the 2015 Advisory Review Committee should be sent to the NPC at
The NPC was formed in 1936 to ensure that the election of trustees of the Bronxville schools would be conducted on a non-partisan basis. NPC expenses are entirely supported by contributions from the community. Contributions may be either mailed to NPC, PO Box 923, Bronxville, NY 10708 or electronically made through the NPC's website.
