Man Killed on Metro-North Tracks Near Bronxville Station

Nov. 11, 2015: On Thursday, November 5, a man was struck and killed by a Metro-North train at approximately 5:30 am, according to a front-page article on November 6 in the Journal News.
Metro-North officials referred to the man as a "trespasser," "the term used by the Federal Railroad Administration to identify pedestrians on rail lines," explains the Journal News.
The incident occurred between the Bronxville and Fleetwood stations. According the Journal News, the man was believed to be about 30 years old.
"The incident came less than two weeks after another man was struck and killed by a Metro-North train just north of the Tuckahoe station," states the Journal News.
As of November 6, "Metro-North officials said they were still investigating the Bronxville incident to determine how the victim came to be on the Harlem Line tracks," says the Journal News.
