Apr. 25, 2018: The entries below are selections from the Bronxville police blotter.
Monday, April 16, 5:53 pm, Red Oak Road: A resident reported that their identity was stolen and a fraudulent tax return was filed in their name.
Tuesday, April 17, 2:24 pm, Kraft Avenue: A resident reported that a bicycle that was secured to a pole had been stolen. The victim did not know the value or brand of the bicycle. The incident is being investigated.
Friday, April 20, 8:36 pm, NYP Lawrence Hospital: Officers responded to a call of a dispute between a woman and a taxi driver over a fare. The subjects left without needing police assistance.
Saturday, April 21, 12:26 pm: Police responded to a verbal dispute between family members. A domestic incident report was completed. No crime was committed.
Saturday, April 21, 2:38 pm, Palmer Avenue: A 24-year-old from the Bronx was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree after she was stopped for a Tinted Windshield. The 2005 Honda she was operating was impounded. The woman was processed and released on her own recognizance pending her next court appearance.
Sunday, April 22, 2:11 pm, Cedar Street: Police responded to a male acting erratically on the street. Officers interviewed the man, who was upset about a personal issue. The male was no threat to public safety and no crime was committed. He left the area on his own accord.
