Bronxville Police Blotter: June 4 to June 10, 2018

Jun. 13, 2018: The entries below are selections from the Bronxville police blotter.
June 4, 1:14 pm, Palmer Avenue: There was a two-vehicle accident; there were no injuries, and an information exchange was prepared.
June 5, 11:33 am, Kraft Avenue: A wallet was lost; it contained $150.00 and miscellaneous personal papers.
June 6, 5:47 pm, Pondfield Road: A business owner reported that an unlicensed solicitor was selling candy in the area. Officers canvassed the area and the reported male was gone upon arrival.
June 7, 12:52 pm, Elm Rock Road: Bronxville police assisted the Eastchester Fire Department on a fire alarm. It was determined that the alarm was caused by a steam shower and the residence was cleared for occupancy.
June 7, 8:48 pm, Palmer Avenue, Tavern 32: Police responded to a 911 call of a physical altercation inside the establishment. A 60-year-old woman from Bronxville was charged with Disorderly Conduct (violation) and Resisting Arrest (misdemeanor). The other participant in the altercation, a man from Yonkers, was charged with Disorderly Conduct. Both were released on their own recognizance pending their next court appearance.
June 8, 11:00 pm, Paxton Avenue Parking Lot: A parking attendant found a wallet on the sidewalk and turned it in to police. The owner was contacted, and the wallet was returned to him.
June 10, 5:45 pm, Kraft Avenue: A 90-year-old male attempting to back out of a parking place struck a vehicle, and then while attempting to pull away struck three more parked vehicles. No injuries were reported. The male’s vehicle had to be towed away. All of the parked vehicle owners were contacted and a motor vehicle accident report was completed. The driver was cited for Unsafe Backing; a driver review was also completed and forwarded to the department of motor vehicles to determine if he is fit to possess a New York State driver license.
