Feb. 27, 2019: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.
February 12, 6:18 am, Midland Avenue: A 32-year-old man of the Bronx was charged with suspended registration (misdemeanor) after an onboard license plate reader alarm indicated to the officer that the registration to the 2016 Chevrolet Cruz he was operating was suspended for an insurance lapse. The man was processed on scene and released pending his next court appearance. The vehicle was impounded.
February 13, 8:55 am, Garden Avenue: A 36-year-old man was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree (misdemeanor) after he was stopped for failing to yield to a pedestrian in the crosswalk and an inquiry on his license indicated that his driving privileges had been suspended since 2008 for failure to answer a summons. The man was processed and released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance. The 2004 Dodge Ram he was operating was impounded.
February 13, 1:37 pm, Midland Avenue: A cell phone was turned over to police by an anonymous female. The owner of the phone was located and the phone was returned.
February 14, 8:55 am, Park Place: A 20-year-old woman of Yonkers was charged with suspended registration (misdemeanor) after an onboard license plate reader alarm indicated to the officer that the registration to the 2013 Infinity G37 she was operating was suspended for an insurance lapse. The woman was processed on scene and released pending her next court appearance. The vehicle was impounded. The woman was also cited for unregistered motor vehicle.
February 16, 12:19 pm, Kraft Avenue: A 25-year-old woman of Mount Vernon was charged with suspended registration (misdemeanor) after an onboard license plate reader alarm indicated to the officer that the registration to the 2004 Toyota Corolla she was operating was suspended for outstanding parking violations. The woman was processed on scene and released pending her next court appearance. The vehicle was impounded. The woman was also cited for having a brake lamp out and an uninspected motor vehicle.
February 17, 7:52 pm, Pondfield Road, CVS: The CVS store manager reported that a female had stolen an unknown amount of allergy medication and ran from the store. Police canvassed the area and were unable to locate the suspect. The incident is being investigated.
