Oct. 20, 2026: One of the things that makes Bronxville such a special place is our strong sense of community. We value our local institutions, and the Bronxville Public Library has long been an important part of that fabric—a place for learning, discovery, and connection.

But as our community evolves, so do the needs and expectations of the people who live here. As a member of the Bronxville Public Library Board of Trustees, I believe one of our most important responsibilities is to listen to the community we serve.

That's why we're asking for your help.

The Bronxville Public Library is conducting a Community Survey to better understand how residents use the library today, what they value most, and what programs, resources, and services they would like to see in the future.

We're interested in your thoughts on everything from library hours and programming to opportunities for improving study spaces, meeting areas, and technology resources. We're also exploring how the library can best serve residents in a rapidly changing world, including the growing role of artificial intelligence.

While books and reading will always be central to the library’s mission, today’s libraries offer so much more. We want to ensure that our library continues to be a welcoming, relevant, and valuable resource for residents of all ages.

And we don't just want to hear from our regular library visitors. If you haven't visited the library recently—or don't currently use its services—your perspective is equally important. Understanding what might encourage more residents to use the library will help us identify opportunities we might otherwise overlook.

The survey consists of just 14 questions and takes approximately 5–7 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous unless you choose to provide your contact information.

Your feedback will help inform the Board's discussions and decisions about the library's future priorities.
