Bronxville's Own Melissa Errico To Do Valentine's Performance: Link to Tickets

By Karen Talbot

Feb. 1, 2023: Take your special Valentine to see Bronxville's own Melissa Errico perform "A Noir Romance," which includes songs inspired by her new album, "Out of the Dark." Errico, who is married to tennis star and commentator, Patrick McEnroe, is a hugely talented Tony-Award Broadway Star, Concert Artist, Cabaret Singer, and author,

From "Angel Eyes" to "The Man That Got Away," Errico will sing about doomed love, smokey nightclubs, and half-lit hotel rooms. She will sing classic standards (including Harold Arlen, Harry Warren, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Michel Legrand, and Stephen Sondheim) and new songs written for her by David Shire, Peter Foley, and Adam Guettel. "A Noir Romance" luxuriates in the darkness that reminds us of the light that love can bring.

Errico has had starring roles on Broadway in "My Fair Lady," "Amour," and "High Society." She has also sung numerous concerts of American songs, ranging from Randy Newman to Irving Berlin, at venues including the 92nd Street Y, Birdland, Joe's Pub, Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, Lincoln Center's Allen Room, and Feinstein's/54 Below.

Melissa and her husband live in Bronxville with their three teenage daughters, Victoria, Diana, and Juliette.

Performances are Feb. 10 - 12 at 7 pm and 9:30 pm, Feb. 13 at 8:30 pm, and Feb. 14 at 5:30 and 8:30 pm at Birdland Theater 315 West 44th St New York, NY 10036.  Click here for tickets.

Bronxville Public Library
Bronxville Public Library

The Bronxville Public Library traces its origins back to 1875, when it was a small lending library housed in a room attached to the “Bronxville Model School.” The Library was officially chartered in 1906 and moved into the Village Hall Building. The needs of the library grew with the town and, in 1942, a new standalone building was erected, which is where the Library is today. Over the years, the Library was renovated and expanded to meet the needs of the community.

The Library has wonderful resources for adults and children and offers a comfortable and relaxing environment. The Library also houses a fine art collection, consisting principally of Bronxville painters and sculptors.

The Library offers special events, art exhibitions, and programs for adults, young adults and children. All events are open to the public, unless otherwise indicated.
