Pet of the Week: Bear

Jun. 4, 2014: Bear is a sweet and adorable one-year-old shepherd-mix puppy. He is easygoing and would make a wonderful addition to any family.
Bear has an amusing personality and is quite intelligent. He has mastered "sit," "shake," and "paw" and was easily housebroken.
This wonderful pup sleeps perfectly through the night in an open crate or on a dog bed next to his foster parents. He loves to be around other dogs, both large and small, and is completely fascinated by cats. He does not chase them but finds them entertaining and is captivated by their behavior.
When you first meet Bear, he will appear a bit shy, but in no time at all, he will come out of his shell and melt your heart with his sweet eyes and loving touch. Bear is easily entertained by his toys and fellow foster pets. All he wants is a place and family to call his own.
Bear has been neutered and is up to date with all of his vaccinations. His adoption donation is $250.
If you would like to meet Bear, please visit the Pet Rescue website at www.NY-PetRescue.org and fill out an application. Pet Rescue requests that applications be completed before introductions to the dogs are made. If you mention that you learned about Bear through MyhometownBronxville, it will help expedite the adoption process.
If you are not ready to adopt, Pet Rescue is always looking for foster families. Puppies, kittens, dogs, and cats of all breeds, sizes, and ages are available for fostering. Pet rescue provides all of the necessary supplies and veterinary care. All you need to do is open your heart and your home to these amazing furry friends.
