Pet of the Week: Gunther

Dec. 4, 2019: Gather around and make room for one charming and lovable fellow. Gunther is a 14-month-old, 44-pound hound mix with a delightful disposition who is ready to jump into the hearts and home of his forever family.
His droopy ears and expressive eyes are just some of the things to admire about Gunther. He is happiest when he is around people and their daily activities. Everyone who meets Gunther falls head over heels in love, and he loves them back equally as much. Kids, adults, it doesn't matter. He just wants to be everybody's friend.
Gunther loves to embrace his hound dog genes and explore the world through his nose. He is always sniffing out new adventures, and it is never a dull day when you have this sweet boy by your side.
Positive reinforcement and patience are the keys to his stellar behavior. Gunther is housebroken, crate trained, and has just about mastered his leash walking skills. Every dog he meets is a buddy, and he has shown complete indifference to cats. He is an affectionate guy looking for a companion or family who can indulge his medium energy level through walks or playtime.
