Feb. 12, 2020: Lovely Lizzy is an 11 week old, 35 pound Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd mix puppy who is loving, calm and would make a wonderful family pet.  

She and her littermates were rescued recently from rural Mississippi. Their mother was a purebred yellow lab that wandered up to a good Samaritan's home just before delivering her babies. Thankfully, this person was kind enough to contact a rescue group and ask for help saving the puppies.   

Lizzy is extremely sweet and smart. She has a mellow personality and seems to just go with the flow of everything happening around her. She and her siblings have been well socialized and get along with cats, dogs, and every person they meet.  

Even though Lizzy is still very young, she is doing excellent with her housebreaking training. Her gentle nature makes her a perfect match for a family with children.  

Lizzy is as healthy as can be. She has already been spayed, fully vetted, and is up to date with her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $495.00, which helps cover her transportation costs, daily care, and vetting. Southern Jewel Dog Rescue is a 501c3, making her adoption donation tax-deductible.
