Letter to the Community in Support of Anthony Lore for Fire Commissioner

Dec. 8, 2021: Anthony Lore is running for Fire Commissioner of the Eastchester Fire District. The Eastchester Fire District includes five firehouses in Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville.
The Eastchester Board of Fire Commissioners is the governing body that oversees all of the Eastchester five firehouses, all the apparatus and all the firefighters who man all the firehouses 24/7. Responsibility and know-how is a necessity. The Bronxville Fire House is one of five. The Board makes appointments, sets budgets and generally is responsible for all oversight of these first responders that provide numerous emergency services at every hour of the day and night.
The Board of Fire Commissioners is a body elected by residents of Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville. The Commissioners receive no salary or compensation of any kind except for the satisfaction of contributing to and serving society in the field of Public Safety.
Anthony has spent a lifetime of Community and Public Service. He served four years in the US Air Force. He served over 40 years as a Volunteer Firefighter including five years as a Commissioner. He has all the knowledge and experience required for this position When it came to choosing players for your baseball team, you wanted Yogi Berra. He was picked to play winning baseball, not give phony political speeches. Anthony’s job would not be to give speeches. He would be elected to contribute toward the governance of the Eastchester Fire District within the confines of the law. Anthony’s first concern would be the well-being of the Fire Department and the people it serves and protects. This includes Bronxville. Anthony’s qualification for Commissioner is well documented. His qualifications and experience are unmatched by other candidates. He knows the “nuts and bolts” of the job and the equipment.
Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville would be well served by Anthony Lore as a member of the Board of Fire Commissioners. Vote December 14, 2021 (Tues.) 2:00 PM -9:00 PM Village
