Rick enjoyed working and socializing in New York City.  He also liked to play golf and tennis at the Rockaway Hunting Club in Lawrence, NY and on family vacations to Waterville Valley, NH.  After he and his family moved to Bronxville in 1993, Rick enjoyed participating in the Men’s Group and several Christmas pageants at the Reformed Church of Bronxville.  He also developed a fondness for paddle tennis and served as a member of the Bronxville Non-Partisan Committee for the Bronxville Board of Education.

A proud father, Rick would often be seen at his sons’ performances, sporting events, and milestones with a camera and camcorder in tow.  He was also a huge supporter of his wife’s career and was a fixture at her galleries’ openings and events.

He was predeceased by his parents, Emma Wehr Templeton and Dr. Earl Richard Templeton (Miami Beach, FL), and his brother John Templeton (Atlanta, GA).
