Jan. 11, 2023: Robert Caroe Rabsey was born in Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, New York on April 1, 1947.  He passed away in Madrid, Spain on December 9, 2022, while travelling with his son, Will.

He lived most of life in the Village of Bronxville and was active in various community affairs along with his mother, Jennie, who served in the Chamber of Commerce for many years, and his father, Bill, who was a former Scoutmaster and member of the American Legion.

His passion for travel and trains took him to different parts of the world, meeting residents, immersing in their culture and enjoying the local cuisine.  He shared his experiences with his family, and often made friends along the way from all walks of life.

He was an avid genealogist, and through extensive research and visits to Germany, Denmark and Ukraine, he was proud to find records of relatives dating centuries back.  He was also able to reconnect with distant relatives in the US and Canada.

Robert is survived by his wife of 27 years, Annie, children William and Johanna, who are the pride and joy of his life, and brothers Kenny and Billy.

His constant presence in the village will be sorely missed.
