June 23, 2021: Gramatan Village is delighted to announce that Jane Staunton has been named the new President of the Board of Directors, effective July 1st.
Jane is a recent retiree and just concluded a 35+-year career in financial services. With extensive experience in marketing, sales and financial analysis, Jane worked in various executive positions with leading firms such as the Bank of New York Mellon, Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley, where she was Executive Director and head of Morgan Stanley Capital International Europe.
Jane has been active in the Bronxville community since she moved here in 2001. She is a cofounder of the Bronxville Veterans Memorial, a former board member of the Bronxville Historical Conservancy, O’Silas Gallery and Concordia College Business Advisory Council where she mentored students. Additionally, Jane served as a volunteer grant evaluator for The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe for 12 years.
Current Gramatan Village Board President Tracy Lilly is relocating out of the Bronxville area. “We are so grateful to Tracy for her service during the past year. Her time spent advancing the mission of Gramatan Village has been invaluable and deeply appreciated by all. We are also thrilled to welcome Jane as our new Board President and excited for the wealth of experience she brings,” stated Executive Director Sherry Saturno.
Gramatan Village is also welcoming two new board members, Richard Fursland and Mary Claire White. Richard comes to us after an interesting career and great experience with non-profits. He currently serves on the board of British American Business, which he co-founded and led, and Cecily’s Fund. Mary Claire, currently of Houlihan Lawrence, has 20 years of experience in Westchester real estate, and has volunteered in many areas of our local community. Prior to this, she had a career in advertising in Manhattan.
