Steven Palm, Owner of Underhills Crossing, to Be Honored at May Magic Benefit Thursday, May 10

May 2, 2018: Gramatan Village's annual May Magic Benefit will take place at Siwanoy Country Club on Thursday, May 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Steven Palm, owner of Underhills Crossing restaurant in Bronxville, takes great pride in providing his guests with great food, service, and ambiance. Food critics rave about Underhills Crossing, noting that customers clamor for tables at his upscale Nuevo American bistro, and much of the credit can be attributed to Steven's style. Over the years, his reputation has grown as a detail-oriented host who listens and learns from his guests. He often states, "My restaurant is my home away from home; it is an extension of my life."
While Steven not only has the recipe for success at the helm of Underhills Crossing, he also brings the same work ethic, enthusiasm, and caring to the many charitable organizations that he has supported over the last 24 years. Steven has said, "Growing up, I did not have monetary wealth, but I have always had the love and support of my family and friends, especially my wife and three-year-old-twin daughters. Today, I am living a dream that I have had since I was a young boy and I never, ever expected I would get to live it. If I am able to help someone who is not as lucky as I am, then it is my pleasure to do whatever I can."
Steven has given his time, endless energy, and financial assistance to hundreds of organizations. He has served as president of the Bronxville Helen Keller Lions Club and a board member of the Bronxville Chamber of Commerce and has chaired events for Heartsong, The Counseling Center, the Westchester Arts Council, Jansen Memorial Hospice and Palliative Care, the American Red Cross, and Westchester ARC, as well as being a major sponsor of the The Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester, Tuckahoe.
We are pleased to honor Steven Palm for his generosity and willingness to dedicate his valuable time, expertise, and resources to so many, providing extraordinary service to our community.
Admission to May Magic is $100 per person and larger contributions are welcome.

Gramatan Village engages community residents who want to remain in the home and neighborhood they love. Organized in 1982, the Bronxville Beautification Council (BBC) is a not-for-profit organization administered by a volunteer Board of Directors. The mission of the BBC is to enhance and maintain the natural and man-made beauty of the village of Bronxville, with an emphasis on the downtown business district.

Boulder Ledge Garden Club
Founded in 1966, the Boulder Ledge Garden Club is rooted in a mission to inspire a deeper appreciation and love for gardening and flower arranging. The club is dedicated to fostering and promoting interest and knowledge in gardening.
The Club maintains Bronxville’s Bicentennial Park and other civic gardens. In 2019–2020 the club raised $18,000 to replace trees in the village, reflecting its active role in community beautification. It also holds garden therapy projects and educational garden trips for members.

Bronxville Giving Garden
The Bronxville Giving Garden is a community-centered garden that donates organic produce to Eastchester Community Action Partnership in Tuckahoe and Community Service Associates in Mount Vernon. The garden is also a gathering place where school children and volunteers can discover the joy of tending plants and growing food.

Bronxville Green Committee
The Bronxville Green Committee is a volunteer organization that is part of the Village of Bronxville. It proposes and implements environmentally sustainable programs in our community.

Bronxville Boy Scouts
The village of Bronxville has a long tradition of scouting. “The troops and packs of Bronxville have maintained the finest scouting organizations and have taught the boys of the Bronxville area to be leaders and outstanding members of the local, national and global communities.”

The Girls Scouts is “the world’s preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world.” In Girl Scouts, “girls discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together.
