Covid Report: Local Cases Continued to Climb This Week

May 11, 2022: According to the Westchester County Covid-19 dashboard, reported Covid-19 cases in our area continued to climb this week, increasing by an additional 173 cases (15%) to 1,335 on May 8th.
The majority of these additional cases - - 154 or 89% - - were in Yonkers. There were an additional 7 reported cases in Bronxville, bringing the Bronxville total to 43 cases.
The positivity rate has climbed from 8.6% on May 2, 2022 to 13.4% on May 9th.
The Covid-19 death total in Westchester rose to 2,972 on May 9th from 2,967 on May 2nd.

According to the Westchester County Covid-19 Vaccine Tracker, the vaccination rate in zip code 10708 (1 dose) has remained at 88.7% as of May 9, 2022. Click here for more information.
