April 19: Emergency Repairs: Con Ed is making emergency gas main repairs along Palmer Avenue in front of Lawrence Hospital. As a result, please expect traffic congestion along the roadway. Con Ed anticipates the emergency work will continue during the day April 20 as well.

April 22, Bronxville Annual Compost Give-Back Day: 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. behind Village Hall. Pick up FREE compost for your garden or container plants. Bring your own receptacle.
April 22, 11am - 3pm: Need a car wash? Stop by the Bronxville Elementary School parking lot on April 22 from 11am - 3pm and students will do it for you! Proceeds from the car wash to benefit The Fuller Center in Yonkers.
April 25, 2pm: Presidential New York Part II. Join for a one-hour interactive presentation. The program highlight sites in New York City associated with the presidents of the 18th and 19th centuries. Free admission and open to the public.
April 27, 7pm: Author Talk at Womrath Bookshop. Bronxville High School alumni Lee Stockdale (BHS '70) and Amy Turner (BHS '71) will be at Womrath Bookshop to read from and discuss their books. Stockdale has written a collection of poems called "Gorilla" and Turner has written a memoir entitled "On the Ledge."

April 29, 7pm: Hoch Music Concert "Bach to Brazil:" This is the final concert of the season. It features Lawrence Dutton, artistic director and member of the Emerson String Quartet and bassist John Patitucci, and takes place at the Reformed Church of Bronxville, 180 Pondfield.
