“Finding Mrs. Claus” tells the enchanting story of Mrs. Claus, who leaves the North Pole three weeks before Christmas in search of a deeper purpose beyond being Santa’s biggest supporter.
Arriving in New York City, she helps a middle school produce their holiday musical, discovering her talent for teaching and mentoring. As Christmas Eve approaches, she realizes Santa needs her back at the North Pole. Before returning, she successfully guides the students and gains a newfound sense of fulfillment.
Upon her return, she and Santa have a heartfelt conversation about the importance of being equal partners in all aspects of their work.
The show’s cast hails from Westchester and Fairfield counties.
The production team is led by Grace Smyth and Cameron Coffey (co-stage directors), Charles duChateau (music director), Jason Summer (choreographer), Katie Yacoub (assistant choreographer), and Cam Tyler (stage manager).
Since its inception in 1999, the Conservatory’s annual tuition-free holiday musical has been a cherished community tradition and an effective theatre arts outreach program.
Supported by generous donors, the program has raised over $950,000, allowing area youth to participate regardless of financial situation or disability.
In its 25-year history, the musical has been enjoyed by 18,000 enthusiastic audience members and featured 1,600 performers. In celebration of this milestone 25th anniversary production, we are raising funds for the Concordia Conservatory Holiday Musical Endowment Fund with a goal of $300,000.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps ensure that this beloved community holiday musical will continue for generations to come. To support, CLICK HERE.
