Sept. 18, 2026: The Picture House Regional Film Center will present a special advance screening of Charlie Harper on Wednesday, September 23 at 7:30 PM at The Picture House Bronxville. The screening comes just two days before the film opens in theaters on September 25, giving Westchester audiences an early opportunity to see the new romantic drama starring Emilia Jones and Nick Robinson. The screening will be followed by an in-person talkback with filmmaker Mac Eldridge, who co-directed the film with Tom Dean, offering audiences a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the film.
Students are invited to attend the screening free of charge. Complimentary student tickets can be picked up at the box office with a valid student ID.
ABOUT THE FILM:
At an engagement party for mutual friends, Charlie and Harper seemingly meet for the first time. But when a specific song sparks old memories, their complex history is revealed. Through flashbacks from both perspectives, their story unfolds—from what first brought them together to the choices that led them to where they are today. Retracing the highs and lows of their relationship, Charlie Harper explores love, ambition, identity, and personal growth, asking what happens when two people deeply connected to one another begin growing in different directions.
ABOUT MAC ELDRIDGE:
Mac Eldridge is a New York-based filmmaker whose work across narrative and commercial filmmaking combines genre storytelling with a deeply human perspective.
Eldridge studied film at DePaul University, where his sophomore short, Chemical 12-D, a zombie thriller, screened at more than 50 film festivals worldwide. He went on to launch a career in commercial production after creating a viral spec spot for the PGA TOUR, collaborating with prominent athletes and artists. Eldridge made his feature directorial debut with Charlie Harper, co-directed with longtime collaborator Tom Dean.
