Four Squash Players from Bronxville Competed in the 2026 College Squash Association National Club Team Championships

Feb. 18, 2026: Four college squash players from Bronxville traveled with their teams this past weekend to Philadelphia to compete in the 2026 College Squash Association National Club Team Championships - - Brooks Clifford (Georgetown University), Drew Doyle (Columbia University), Quinn McCarthy (University of Chicago), and James Murphy (Cornell University).
A total of 51 teams (over 400 players) competed in the tournament - - a testament to the popularity and depth of college squash!
Georgetown, Columbia, and the University of Chicago all competed in the top division of the tournament, which included the eight top college club squash programs in the nation.
The University of Chicago team, which includes Quinn McCarthy, finished an impressive 2nd in the tournament, falling to Brown University in a close 5-4 finals.

The Georgetown University team also had a great showing finishing 4th in the tournament. Georgetown had a very close 3/4 playoff, ultimately falling 5-4. Brooks Clifford had an extremely strong performance throughout the tournament and commented 'it's always such a great team experience and fun weekend."

The Columbia University team followed close behind, finishing 5th overall. Drew Doyle went undefeated for the tournament and played impressive squash.

The Cornell University team, which includes Bronxville player James Murphy, played in the Co-ed B Division.
James played #2 for the team. Cornell ultimately finished 7/8 in the tournament.
