'Journal News' Announces All-Star Selections for Westchester/Putnam High School Sports: See Bronxville Recipients

Dec. 31, 2014: The Journal News announced the Westchester/Putnam Fall All-Stars in December, and 20 Bronxville athletes were on the list. Senior Caitlin Fryer, who was named top player in New York State after the girls' soccer team captured the Class B State Championship, was named to the Westchester/Putnam first team along with teammate Charlie Warble. Also selected for first team honors were senior Steven Ircha (football), senior Delia Hayes, sophomore Kaitlin Ryan (cross country), and senior Chrissy Simon (tennis).
The Journal News gave two Bronxville coaches top honors. Bronxville girls' soccer coach, Don Cupertino, was named tri-coach of the year, along with coaches at Haldane and Somers. Girls' cross country coach Jim Mitchell, who is assisted by Jen Zopp, was named cross country coach of the year.
