By S. Quinn DeJoy and J. Murrer
Jul. 15, 2015: This fall, nineteen Bronxville graduates will become student-athletes at the college level. This year's graduates will compete in baseball, diving, football, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, track and field, squash, and skiing, demonstrating a wide range of talent in very diverse sports. According to the NCAA, only about 1 in 20 high school athletes is recruited to play sports in college, but Bronxville athletes always beat those statistics. This year, four of the nine senior boys on the Bronxville lacrosse team will play at Fairfield, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, and Yale, three Bronco football players will compete at Dickinson, Gettysburg, and the University of Pennsylvania, and two tennis players will head to Johns Hopkins and Villanova.
