Fifteen Broncos Earn All-State Honors at the New York State Track and Field Championships

Jun. 11, 2014: The Broncos competed at the New York State Outdoor Track and Field Championships on June 6 and 7 at Cornell University and had great success. The girls' 4x800m relay team finished second in Division 2 and fifth in the Federation, which includes public and private schools of all sizes. The girls won 17 medals at states, the most ever by a Bronco team. A total of fifteen Broncos earned All-State honors. Below is a list of the competitors and how they fared.

Boys
1600m: John Flannery, 2nd in Division 2 (All-State), 7th in the Federation
400m: Nick Sutherland, 16th in Division
4x400m relay: Flannery, Sutherland, Patrick Bisconti, and J.P. Donohue, 4th in Division 2 (All-State) (3:27.35)
Girls
Shot put: Claire Sargent, 5th in Division 2 (All-State) (36'9")
Discus: Sargent, 14th in Division 2
Pentathlon: Fiona Roediger, 8th in Division 2
3000m: Kaitlin Ryan, 18th in Division 2 (10.37.23)
800m: Courtney Campbell, 20th in Division 2 (2:19.01)
4x100m: Margot Richards, Caroline DePaul, Jamie Carroll, Sophie Kohlhoff, 5th in Division 2 (All-State) (50.29).
4x400m: Courtney Campbell, Hilary Rizzo, Laura Holland, Lise Hudson, 2nd in Division 2 (All-State) (3:58.26, best of the season)
4x800m: Campbell, Delia Hayes, Rizzo, Ryan, 2nd in Division 2 (All-State) and 5th in the Federation (All-State) (9:13.58)
