Booskerdoo

Scott and Katy Erdlitz
When owner Scott Erdlitz had the best coffee he had ever had while working in NJ in his commercial real estate profession, he knew he wanted to bring Booskerdoo to Bronxville. And that's just what he and Katy Erdlitz did in May 2019.
Katy and Scott met when Katy's corporate communications career brought her from London to NY in 2013. For Katy, their investment in Booskerdoo and Bronxville brings the community back into communication, which was just what was missing in her corporate job.
Every day there's a new saying on the chalkboard outside the door, sometimes profound, sometimes very funny, but always worth a look. Don't forget, Katy is a communicator.
Booskerdoo was open every day during the most difficult lockdown months, curbside only. That's BXV commitment.
Bronxville Jewelers 90

John Halwagy
As a young man in high school, Bronxville Jewelers 90 owner John Halwagy visited his brother's jewelry store, quickly becoming immersed in jewelry design and gemology.
"Gold is gold," and John loves precious metals for their reliable, quantifiable value. But for a certified gemologist, a diamond is "like a fingerprint." Each stone tells a unique story.
John designs and makes many of the pieces in the shop to best show the stones. Want to take a lesson in the history of engagement rings over the past 50 years? Sit down with John. While talking, he's likely to swap out a watch battery for a customer without pausing for a second.
In John's view, Bronxville is a "gem." "It's elegant," he says, and that hasn't changed. It's not surprising that the little girl whose ears John pierced years ago came in with her fiancé to design her engagement ring, married, had a daughter, and the cycle begins anew. That's what 30 years in Bronxville brings.
Station Plaza Wine

Kevin Kingston, co-owner, Station Plaza Wine
Owners Kevin Kingston and Denio Delaurentis, best friends since second grade in Hartsdale, share two great passions - wine and exercise. As the years went by, they worked in very different careers, Kevin on Wall Street and Denio in contracting. The friendship endured.
As they exercised together every morning, yes, every morning, they hatched a plan to open a wine and liquor store. They began to look around. The day Station Plaza Wine came on the market four years ago, they bought it. Done!
Most days, you'll find Kevin or Denio at the back of the store, at the desk, doing research. They stock about 1,300 labels with at least 100 receiving a 100 point rating.
Kevin says, opening a good bottle of wine at the end of a day signals the time to unwind. They look forward to it, that and a good workout.
Remember, don't click and shop, walk, and BuyBronxville.
