Pets of the Week: Buffy and Jodi

By Allison Roesser
Jul. 20, 2016: At barely three months old, Buffy and Jodi are already proving to be quite the beauties. With amber/hazel eyes and stunning coats, they will surely grow up to be gorgeous felines.
Their mom, CeeCee, was living outside in Yonkers and being fed by a kind-hearted couple. They quickly realized she was pregnant and on April 24 of this year they were able to enlist the help of a local rescue group when she started to give birth.
Buffy, Jodi, and CeeCee are all now safe in foster care and ready to be adopted.
Jodi (the buff and white kitten) is friendly and outgoing. She will greet you at the door, pass the time exploring, and play with whatever toys she can find. She also equally enjoys cuddling with people and her brother during naptime.
Buffy, named after his color, is playful, affectionate, and a bit more cautious than his sister. The two enjoy playing together and can often be seen leaping in unison like synchronized swimmers.
CeeCee, just a kitten herself, was guessed to be only seven months old when she gave birth. This precious young mom has one blue eye and one amber eye. She has medium-length fur and a huge pom-pom tail. At this point, it appears that the kittens may have shorter fur than their mother, but only time will tell.
All three kitties are in excellent health, negative for feline leukemia/feline AIDS, and current on their vaccinations.
