Sunday, Feb. 12, 5:50 pm:  Police responded to ACME on Cedar Street for a report of an attempted larceny. An unknown male attempted to leave the store with a grocery cart containing $231.63 worth of groceries without paying. When confronted by the manager, the suspect ran out of the store abandoning the groceries and fled in a dark-colored sedan. The incident is being investigated. 

Monday, Feb. 13, 9:55 am:  A homeowner on Park Avenue reported that a vehicle was parked in front of her home beyond the two-hour parking regulation. Upon the officers' arrival, the owner of the vehicle exited the neighbor's house and left of her own accord.

Monday, Feb. 13, 7:44 pm:  On White Plains Road, Police Officer David DiBenedetto charged a 49-year-old man from the Bronx with unlawful possession of marijuana after he was stopped for operating a motor vehicle while using his cell phone and Police Officer DiBenedetto detected the odor emitting from his vehicle. His 1999 Mercedes Benz was impounded and he was processed and then released pending his next court appearance. 

Thursday, Feb. 16, 2:30 pm:  On White Plains Road, Police Officer Lauralee Ulrich charged a 22-year-old woman of Yonkers with operating a vehicle with a suspended registration after a license plate reader alarm alerted Officer Ulrich that registration on the 2015 Honda Civic was suspended. Said vehicle was impounded, and the woman was processed and released from the scene pending her next court appearance. 

Friday, Feb. 17, 9:34 am:  On Midland Avenue, Police Officer Lauralee Ulrich charged a 43-year-old woman with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, suspended registration, and no insurance after a license plate reader alarm alerted Officer Ulrich that the registration to the 2013 Nissan Altima she was operating was suspended for an insurance lapse. Her vehicle was impounded, and she was processed on scene and released pending her next court date. 

Friday, Feb. 17, 2:30 pm:  A homeowner on Midland Avenue reported that an unknown male rang his doorbell, and when he answered, the male stated that he was supposed to meet a realtor at the residence. After being informed that he must be at the wrong house, the male left in a red sedan. The incident is being investigated.
