Pet of the Week - Wesley

By Allison Roesser
Aug. 5, 2020: This handsome boy is named Wesley. One can’t help but be in awe of his striking and unique markings. But as beautiful as he is on the outside, he is just as lovely on the inside.
He is believed to be a Husky or Malamute with a bit of Pyrenees mixed in, but whatever blend he is, his magnificent coat cannot go unnoticed or unappreciated.
Wesley was found as a stray and taken to an overcrowded animal shelter. Thankfully he was pulled from the shelter and moved into a foster home so he could receive some one-on-one TLC. His foster mom says he has the most wonderful personality and loves every dog, cat, and person he meets.
Wesley is a sweet and fun-loving boy and wants to be near people so he can watch them go about their day. He enjoys being near the water and is a great swimmer. He is also quite the Casanova and will dole out kisses to any willing recipient.
Wesley is still a puppy, and according to his foster mom, this smart fellow is a quick learner. He takes correction well, walks nicely on a leash, and has mastered his housebreaking habits. He loves to play with his toys and sleep quietly through the night on the floor in the bedroom.
If you have a busy and active household with a fenced-in yard, Wesley could be just the dog for you. He is a great boy, and a loyal companion, and whoever adopts this gentle giant will be one lucky owner.
