Confirmation Celebrated for Ten Students at Village Lutheran Church on Sunday, May 17

Jun. 10, 2015:  The Village Lutheran Church celebrated the rite of confirmation for ten students on Sunday, May 17.

After attending weekly confirmation classes for two years during their seventh- and eighth-grade years, the confirmands were anointed with oil and given a confirmation Bible verse at the rite of confirmation liturgy during the 10:45 am service.

The confirmation program, named "Lifer Youth," involves fellowship, service, and religious education.

Receiving confirmation were the following students from Bronxville, Eastchester, Mamaroneck, Mount Vernon, and Yonkers:  Jack Daniel Bennett, Michael Angelo Blackwell, Bethany Caroline Carter, Andrew Robert Clausen, Joshua Alexander Coombs, Emma English Hoesterey, Ryan Francis Martin, Anthony Joseph Masella, Jr., Elizabeth Lane Parson, and Chloe Ann Pinto.
