Bronxville Village Resident Bitten by a Raccoon; Residents Advised to Be Alert Print

Aug. 27, 2019:  The Village of Bronxville sent out the following notice by email today.

"On Sunday evening, a Ridge Road resident was bitten by a raccoon. Unfortunately, the raccoon was not caught.  While there have been no additional incidents reported to Police, please be alert and stay away from any raccoons and report any aggressive behavior to the Police Department immediately." 

"The Westchester County Health Department link below has helpful rabies prevention tips and what to do if you are bitten. Dogs should be kept on a leash and under direct supervision when outdoors.  click this link."
