March 9, 2022: Constance W. Mills, 82, of Bronxville and Westhampton Beach, NY, passed away on March 7, 2022. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, William P., Jr. Connie was born in Riverdale, NY and moved to Bronxville in the 8th grade.
Connie graduated from Rosemont College and obtained her masters degree in Biology from Fordham University. During college she met her husband Bill who she married in 1964. They moved to Bronxville in 1970 where she was involved in the PTA, Bronxville League for Service and the Cub Scouts.
Connie taught 8th Grade Science in the Eastchester Public Schools but left teaching to raise her three children William, Edward and Melissa. After her children were educated, Connie returned to substitute teaching at the elementary level and did so until 2019.
Connie was a member of the Bronxville Field Club, Westhampton County Club and the Swordfish Beach Club where she loved spending time with her children, daughters-in-law Suzanne and Jodi, and grandchildren William P., IV, Anne, Sarah, Megan and Tyler.
Connie was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville and Immaculate Conception Church in Westhampton. Connie was loved and cherished by many and her selflessness, generosity and kindness will always be remembered.
Connie is also survived by sister Phyllis, brother William and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Immaculate Conception Church, Westhampton Beach, NY, or The Catholic Faith Network, Uniondale, NY. Calling hours at The Fred H.
