March 6, 13 and 14, 1:30pm: Matinee Movies at the Bronxville Library in the Yeager Room. The following movies are coming up. The Quiet Girl (March 6), Hidden Figures (March 13), and The Miracle Club (March 14)

March 6 and ongoing: Bronxville Adult School Spring Registration is Open.  They offer a wide assortment of courses, including a lot of new classes as well as many returning favorites. Arts, business, technology, food and drink, dance, fitness, sports, and more. So much to choose from! Click here to register.

March 7 -17, 2024: The Bronxville School's Annual "Spring Into The Arts."  Student art is featured in windows in shops around the village of Bronxville. Come and see the work of these talented young artists!!

March 8 - April 2, 2024: The Flip Circus will be returning to Cross County Center in Yonkers. CLICK HERE for tickets. Created by the imagination of the Vazquez family, who have provided quality circus acts for over 50 years and four family generations, the show will feature fan-favorite Ringmaster Arthur Figueroa returns as host of the new 2024 production. Parking is FREE and families are encouraged to attend. 

March 9, 2024: The Picture House Regional Film Center will host its annual fundraising gala Marquee Night 2024.  Picture House supporters throughout Westchester and beyond will come together for a festive evening of fun, food and film!

March 20, 2024, 1pm: Boulder Ledge Garden Club is hosting a lecture at the Bronxville Field Club featuring Kent Russell, a very entertaining and knowledgeable garden lecturer.  The lecture is entitled Sensational Spring Containers. Kent Russell is a nationally recognized celebrity gardener and will share unique ideas for designing spring containers by using an array of plants to create appealing potted gardens. Early spring perennials, colorful and unusual hardy bulbs, and cold tolerant annuals will be just a part of this demonstration. All plants will be available for purchase following the presentation. Tickets are $25 and include light refreshments following the lecture. Kent Russell is a specialist in perennials who designs container plantings for clients throughout the East Coast. New ideas and inspiration will be just one aspect of an engaging program as Kent shares stories of his most recent gardening adventures.  

Practically born with a silver trowel in his hand, Kent started his life in horticulture at his family’s nursery, Russell Gardens in Bucks County, PA. He served as “The Garden Guru” on PBS and is listed as a preferred speaker by The Garden Club of America.. 

This event will take place at the Bronxville Field Club on Wednesday, March 20 at 1pm. Tickets are $25 and include light refreshments following the lecture. Wednesday, March 20, 2024, 11:00am: Gramatan Village in partnership with NY-Presbyterian Westchester. Understanding Colorectal Health: Having a Healthy Gut and Reducing Your Risk for Disease. Speaker: Dr. David Schwartzberg Dr. David Schwartzberg is a double-board certified colorectal surgeon with expertise in the full spectrum of benign and malignant colorectal diseases including colon and rectal cancer, polyposis syndromes, inflammatory bowel disease, diverticulitis, anorectal disorders and pelvic floor conditions, re-operative colorectal surgery as well as robotic/laparoscopic minimally invasive procedures. Location: Bronxville Public Library - 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville NY

April 19, 2024: 7 pm-10 pm: The Friends of the Bronxville Public Library host their annual spring benefit. “The 60s: Toasting an Era of Expression.”  The Bronxville Public Library, 201 Pondfield Rd, Bronxville. Cocktail or 60s attire. Tickets on sale now.

July 3, 10, 17,24, 2024, 8 pm: The Bronxville Pops Concert Band will, this July, be celebrating their 50th year of presenting FREE Band Concerts for the community. Concerts take place on the Great Lawn of The Bronxville School:

Notice: Westchester County Parks is hiring Lifeguards for Summer 2024. "Applicants should possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid and CPR/AED for Lifeguards certifications or equivalent and pass the Westchester County practical skills test. County parks offers training for new guards, which includes waterfront training for the option to guard at either a pool or beach." Those applying must be able to work at varied locations including Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains, Sprain Ridge Pool and The Brook at Tibbetts in Yonkers, Willson’s Waves Pool in Mount Vernon, as well as Croton Point Park Beach in Croton-on-Hudson and Glen Island Beach in New Rochelle if waterfront certified.
