Letter to the Editor: Marjorie MacAllister on Salute to Seniors Day

To the Editor:

The Salute to Seniors Committee would like to wholeheartedly thank the incredible number of community organizations who pulled together to make our Salute to Seniors Day a resounding success.

From our co-sponsor Gramatan Village to the merchants and restaurants who graciously offered "silver" discounts . . . from the village and police department of Bronxville, The Bronxville School, and the Village of Tuckahoe, to NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital, the Bronxville Rotary, chamber of commerce, library, and Bronxville Adult School.

We are also grateful to the many community organizations and vendors who spent the morning at informational tables on Pondfield Road and to The Community Fund for its continuing support of our efforts on behalf of our senior community. We and our seniors salute all of you!
