Set in London and based on urban legend, Benjamin Barker, under the alias Sweeney Todd (John George Brakatselos), escapes after being falsely imprisoned for 15 years. Rescued by a young sailor, Anthony Hope (Jim Grant), Sweeney wanders into Mrs. Lovett's (Morgan Taylor) pie shop, where he is told that his wife, Lucy (Ariana Sher), poisoned herself after being defiled by Judge Turpin (Andrew Walter-McNeill) and that his daughter, Johanna (Alleigh Thoms), has been taken away.

He swears revenge on Turpin and is then given his old barber's razor and the offer of opening shop on top of Mrs. Lovett's establishment. Through a twist of events, which includes murdering Adolfo Pirelli (Caroline Schetlick) after Pirelli recognizes Sweeney and attempts to blackmail him by revealing his identity to Beadle Bamford (Will Tague), the duo of Sweeney and Lovett launches a gruesome partnership baking people into pies and taking revenge on the whole world. Pirelli's apprentice, Toby (Ned McCann), suspects foul play and vows to protect Mrs. Lovett.

Through plot twists, love triangles, and a musically complex score, the show will captivate the audience to its final dramatic moment.

The Tony Award-winning musical was popularized by Tim Burton's 2007 film adaptation starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Alan Rickman.

The performance is directed by Peter Royal, and the musical director is Pamela Simpson. Helen Coope is the choreographer. Members of the Bronxville High School orchestra and band (prepared by Dr. Denise Lutter and Sharon Slote, respectively) will accompany the production.
