Letter to the Community: Thank You For 47 Great Years From John Cola of Studio One

Dear Friends,

Oct. 14, 2020: Don’t know where to begin, but there was a beginning 47 years ago. I feel I was very fortunate to land in a very special community Bronxville. During these past decades, I have met some of the most incredible and interesting people that patronized my salon, Studio One, with many of whom I have developed lasting friendships.

During the half-hour plus that my clients sat in my chair, they received great cuts, and we had wonderful conversations. While I have not traveled the world, I feel like I have been to the most interesting and exotic places on earth through the time spent with these wonderful and caring people.

One of the things I am most proud of is to have serviced three generations and, on a rare occasion, a fourth generation.

I don’t want to leave out our great clients from the surrounding towns. I would not want to leave out my wonderful staff who have been on this journey with me for almost half a century. We have so many great memories. Some have moved on, but many have been with me 25, 35, and 40 plus years. I am extremely fond of each and every one of them.

We now have a new owner and a new beginning. We will work with them, introduce them to this great town, and wish them much success and happiness.

So grateful.
