Pets of the Week: Gentle Georgy and Theo

By Allison Roesser

Sep. 30, 2020: Meet Georgy and Theo. These two young guinea pig boys were rescued from a home where they were living in very poor conditions.

They were safely placed in foster care, and their foster mom has determined that the two boys are not bonded and should not be living in the same cage. They have been moved to an enclosure with a divider where they can see each other, keep one another company, but do not need to physically interact.

They are both gentle, loving, and friendly. Georgy is white and orange. He loves to have his chin rubbed and to climb into your neck for a cuddle. Adorable Theo is brown, orange, and white and is as soft as can be. He enjoys being carried around and having his head pat. He spends most of his day relaxing and eating carrots.

These boys can be adopted separately or together. It’s probably best if they go to a home together that their new owner has some previous experience with guinea pigs.

Each of them is healthy and comes with its own cage and supplies if needed. For more information, please text or email Jody at 917-678-0991  or  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
