Pet of the Week: Gunner; Sweet 11-Pounder Needs a Home

By Allison Roesser

Oct. 28, 2020: Gunner is a 3-year-old, 11 pound Jack Russel/Rat terrier mix who needs a new home. His owners dropped him off to be boarded at the vet and never came back for him.

This sweet boy is the quintessential lap dog. He loves to snuggle on the couch and watch tv, and at night he will cuddle up next to you in bed. Gunner adores everyone. His tail is always wagging, and when he greets new people or animals, he only wants to be their friend. Even when a cat swatted him in the face, he only let out a little sign and walked away, his tail still swaying side to side.

This pint-sized perfection would love a family that will include him in their daily activities. He is happiest when there are people around, and because of his tiny size, he is easy to take along on your daily adventures.

Gunner is housebroken, healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his vaccines. He ready for immediate adoption and can’t wait to meet his new family.
