Bronxville Non-Partisan Committee Welcomes New Members; Thanks Departing Members

By Thomas Hansen, Secretary for the Bronxville NPC

Sep. 2, 2020: The Bronxville Non-Partisan Committee (NPC) is excited to announce the individuals who will join the committee, following the village-wide election in July.

One representative from each of Bronxville's seven voting districts was elected to serve a three-year term. In addition, in two districts, representatives were elected for one-year terms to serve out the remaining year of an early retiring member's term.

The new members are:

Jocelyn Angelone (District 16, 3-year term)

Wendy Halley (District 16, 1-year term)

Michael Ching (District 17)

Elizabeth Kiehner (District 18)

Shelly Klose (District 19)

Eleyna Whittingham (District 20)

Chris O'Gorman (District 21)

Erin Lovett (District 22, 3-year term)

Gail Solomon (District 22, 1-year term)

The NPC thanks the nine members of the committee who rolled off this year: Louise Parzick, Helen Knapp, David Brashear, Abby Hail, George Zivic, Valerie Otto, Vanessa O'Friel, Jessica Turko, and Susan Meaney. These individuals generously donated their time and energy to ensuring that the candidates for school board trustee are recruited, properly vetted, and nominated each year. Their service to the NPC is very much appreciated.

The NPC will resume activity in the Fall when the committee will reconvene to begin soliciting applications for school trustee candidates to run in the school district election in 2021.
