Thursday, October 6
:  Robert McGrath will be honored at the annual St. Joseph's Men's Club dinner at Siwanoy Country Club. Cocktails are at 7:00 pm, and dinner is at 8:00 pm.  For more information, go to or contact Tom Okon at  CLOAKING .

Friday, October 7:  The Child Institute at Sarah Lawrence College will be holding a Community Adventure Play Experience in which children play with loose materials with adults nearby. The event will take place from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site at 29 Warburton Avenue in Yonkers. Saturday, October 8:  The Junior League of Bronxville will be sponsoring its annual Touch-A-Truck fundraiser from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Immaculate Conception Field, 53 Winter Hill Road in Tuckahoe. Tickets are $8 per person in advance, $10 per person on the day of the event. Guests are asked to bring one canned goods item to the event. For more information, go to

Tuesday, October 11:  Theologian and author Dr. Alberto L. Garcia will give a talk titled "A Latino Perspective on the Reformation of the Church" at 7:30 pm on the campus of Concordia College. For more information, go to
