:  The Child Institute of Sarah Lawrence College will be holding a community adventure play experience in which children play with loose materials with adults nearby. Friday, September 23, and Saturday, September 24:  There will be a sidewalk sale both days in the Bronxville business district from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (hours of some stores vary). Parking in the Garden Avenue and Kraft Avenue lots will be free from noon on Saturday and in the Avalon lot will be free all day Saturday. Friday, September 23, and Saturday, September 24:  Concordia Conservatory will be holding open auditions for its seventeenth annual holiday musical from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Friday and 9:00 am to noon on Saturday in Stein Hall on the campus of Concordia College. The musical will be Santa's Year Off, whose book, music, and lyrics were written by Concordia Conservatory alumnus Christopher Landy. For more information, go to the Concordia Conservatory website.

Saturday, September 24:  NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital will be a co-sponsor of a melanoma symposium from 8:15 am to noon at Iona College, Murphy Auditorium, 715 North Avenue, New Rochelle. Saturday, September 24:  The annual Tuckahoe Music Festival will start at 9:00 am in Depot Square in Tuckahoe. Performers include Taylor Dayne, Exposé, and Betty Dee of Sweet Sensation. Legendary radio host Al Bandiero will host the concert, and the music will be provided by Johnny Rocks and Dominick Michilli. The festival is sponsored by the Generoso Pope Foundation. Saturday, September 24:  NewYork-Presbyterian/Lawrence Hospital will be holding a parent-and-baby fair from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the main lobby. Topics and events include breastfeeding, car seat safety, physician lectures and meet&greet, baby-proofing, pregnancy and post-pregnancy diet and nutrition, getting in shape after pregnancy, and maternity center tours. Saturday, September 24:  The Garret Park Neighborhood Association will hold its tenth annual block party and flea tag sale from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Parkview Avenue between Palmer Road and Pondfield Road West. Traffic will be closed on Parkview Avenue from Garrett Place to Pondfield Road West.

Tuesday, September 27:  There will be a talk at 2:00 pm at Sarah Lawrence College by faculty member Victoria Redel titled "Life and the Novel/The Novel's Invention of Life." The talk is free and open to the public and will be given at Slonim House, Sarah Lawrence College, 1 Mead Way, Bronxville. Tuesday, September 27:  The Bronxville Village Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a meeting at 7:30 pm in Bronxville Village Hall. For more information, go to the village website or call 914-337-6500.

Wednesday, September 28:  There will be a panel discussion on women in sports marketing leadership that will include Bronxville resident Shenan Reed.
