Letter to the Community From Village Trustees Behrens and Knapp: Meet & Greet

To Bronxville Residents:

March 6, 2024; The next Village Election will be held on Tuesday, March 19th, 2024. Trustees Helen Knapp and Mary Taylor Behrens are both running for re-election as Village Trustees for the two open spots and we would very much appreciate your support.

Although running on different party lines, we are united in our goal for effective and efficient governance of the Village. We are committed to exploring diverse viewpoints and building consensus. We are dedicated to doing our best for this special community where we both grew up and have raised our families.

We plan to build on our past success and work tirelessly on ongoing issues. As Trustees, we have worked on important facility improvements such as the beautiful renovated Maltby Park and the new outdoors project at the Bronxville Library, crucial infrastructure needs including storm and sewer line maintenance and upgrades to traffic signals, as well as environmental initiatives such as reducing the use of gas-powered leaf blowers, creating a food scrap program and installing public EV charging stations. Looking forward, one of our top priorities remains the important issue of flood mitigation.  Along with our fellow Trustees Bob Underhill and Bill Fredericks, and Mayor Mary Marvin, we are honored to serve the Bronxville community.

We are hosting a “Meet and Greet” on March 14th from 6:30-8:00PM at the Bronxville Public Library. We would love to see you there.

Thank you for continued support and please vote on Tuesday, March 19th.

Helen Knapp, Village Trustee

Mary Taylor Behrens, Village Trustee
