Marion Dejou Considine Marries Timothy Francis Horgan in Polminhac, France, August 1, 2015 PDF Print Email

Sep. 30, 2015:  Marion Dejou Considine, the daughter of former long-term Bronxville residents Jacqueline and John E. Considine, was married on August 1, 2015, to Timothy Francis Horgan at Château de Vixouze in Polminhac, France.

The couple met in Greece while chaperoning a school trip for Rye High School. They decided to get married in Dejou, a village founded by and named after Marion's family and where she spent her summers growing up.

Marion, a 2002 Bronxville High School alumna, graduated from Boston College and received a master's degree from New York University and a second master's degree from the University of Salamanca in Spain. She currently teaches French and Spanish at Rye High School in Rye.

Timothy is the son of Gail and Timothy Horgan of Buchanan, New York. A graduate of Rutgers University, where he was a Division 1 lacrosse player, he received a master's degree from Manhattanville College and currently teaches special education at Bronxville High School. He is also head coach of the varsity boys' lacrosse team, which won the New York State Championship in 2014, and he is pursuing a master's degree in coaching and athletic administration.

The maid of honor was fellow 2002 Bronxville alumna Catherine Hauptfuhrer Macdonald, and the best man was the groom's brother, Todd Michael Horgan.

The couple currently resides in Bronxville.
