Pet of the Week: Happy Hal

By Natalia Thiessen

Oct. 4, 2023: Meet Happy Hal, your potential four-legged best friend!

If you're searching for a dog that can add happiness and love to your life, Hal might be the one for you.

This delightful lab mix is around 1.5 years old and has a friendly and sweet personality, though he may take a little time to warm up to new people. He is dog-friendly and has lived with a larger canine companion in his foster home. He has yet to be exposed to children or cats.

Hal is potty-trained and crate-trained. While he might need some encouragement to enter his crate initially, he's perfectly content once inside. He's a great companion for car rides and walks on a leash, showing excellent behavior in public settings such as dog-friendly restaurants and cafes. His energy level is low to medium, which makes him an ideal partner for walks and quality bonding time.

He loves to play with his foster brother and relax with his owners, chewing contentedly on bones. He is working on his manners and is always eager to learn and improve.

Remarkably, he exhibits no separation anxiety and can comfortably be alone.

Happy Hal lives up to his name, radiating happiness and sweetness wherever he goes. If you're ready to welcome this wonderful pup into your life, visit www.strongpawsrescue.org to apply for his adoption. Your future best friend is just a click away!
