Nov. 17, 2022: Rain Natural Skincare is a new store in Bronxville but there are 35 other Rain stores, including 30 stores in South Africa, 4 in Ireland, and 1 in Kuwait.  Rain is located at 139 Parkway Road in Bronxville.

Rain sells all-natural skincare products that cleanse and nourish. The store is light, airy and inviting and their philosophy is written as follows: "At Rain, we work together to replenish, nourish, nurture and sustain Life."

The owners of Rain are environmentally conscious and manufacture their products in a solar-powered factory in South Africa. They also own the Dal River Farm, where they grow olives and produce around 10,000 liters of Extra Virgin Olive Oil yearly. The olive oil is used in their body care products and is sold separately to enjoy with salads and crusty bread.

In the Skincare category, Rain sells the Biologie range of products for everyday use for typical skin types. They offer hand lotion, body scrubs, shampoo, conditioner, and even a foot rub that uses exfoliants from crushed apricot seeds instead of synthetic materials. They also sell Aloe Essentials, which is intensive care for very sensitive skin.

Rain is known for its Bath Bombs which include Fizz Balls, Butterballs and Bubbleballs.  Fizz Balls fizz quickly, adding fun, aroma, relaxation, and a bit of moisturizing to your bath. Butterballs will not fizz as dramatically but are wonderfully moisturizing. Bubbleballs deliver a foam bath with a beautiful scent.

Rain also sells Winter Essentials, which is a bath soak containing tea tree, eucalyptus, rosemary, camphor, and wintergreen essential oils that work to open up and relieve your airways and make you feel better.

Rain sells five different Bath Salts sold by the pound and a Bath Salt Box with eight different fragrances.

Of course, Rain has its line of perfume, which has three natural scents - - Twig, Nectar, and Leaf. Also popular are Savannah and Wild Cotton Perfume which includes soap, body lotions, and Shower Creme.

Rain also sells men's shaving, face care, shampoo, and conditioner products. Additionally, they sell an extensive line of products for the Home, including a laser-cut stainless steel soap dish, fluffy white bath sheets, and towels, as well as ceramics and artwork from the talented painter Thijs Nel.

The Bronxville store is family-owned by Chris and Ilze Bosch and their son, Francois, who is passionate about every product in the store.
