Pet of the Week: Handsome Hurricane

July 20, 2022: Meet handsome Hurricane! This adorable little pup is 10.5 weeks and 9lbs (as of 7/9/22) and is ready to find his forever home. He is a Lab boxer mix expected to be around 50 lbs fully grown.
Hurricane is a super sweet pup who loves to cuddle and snuggle whenever possible. He is learning quickly and is almost completely house-trained. He is a young puppy and does not like being left alone for long periods of time, but his foster parents are working with him, and he is improving daily.
Hurricane is a curious and brave dog. He loves people, other dogs, and even cats! Hurricane is food and treat motivated and loves praise from his owner. He loves learning new tricks and is currently working on "crate" and "sit."
Because he is a puppy, he has a lot of energy and will need a more active household. As he grows, he is also expected to be an energetic and adventurous dog. Hurricane is the life of the party. He loves being social and exploring the wonders he discovers every day.
Hurricane can adapt to any setting, so he is not particular about his new home. City or suburbs, he will love it all. An active and dog-experienced household would be best for this pup to thrive, and as Lab mixes are super intelligent dogs, they require a lot of stimulation and training. As long as you are willing to put in the work, Hurricane will be the perfect pup for you!
