June 22, 2022: After two years of canceled or abbreviated spring sports seasons, Bronxville high school athletes finally got a chance to play a full season. It was a remarkable spring for the Broncos. Every Bronxville team won their respective League Championship, the girls’ lacrosse and track and field teams won their respective Section 1 Championships, and the girls’ lacrosse team clinched the Class D State Title for the first time in Bronxville school history. The Bronxville girls’ track team, always a strong competitor at the state level, won state titles in the 4x400m and 4x800m relays.

At the sports awards evening on June 13^th, Bronxville athletes received 62 All-League awards, 26 All-Section awards, and so far, ten track and field athletes received All-State recognition.  Two lacrosse players, Molly Krestinski and Caroline Ircha, received All-American honors, and Kiki Tormey and Megan Krestinski were named Academic All-Americans.

At the end of each school year, two senior athletes are given special recognition for athletic skill, sportsmanship, and leadership. Milly Koenig, who played soccer, and ran indoor and outdoor track, was given the Virginia Landis Award, and Chris Kelty, who played football, basketball, and lacrosse, was honored with the Lou Brinsmade Award.
