Pet of the Week: Marvelous Marvella

March 30, 2022: Marvella is a friendly and gentle one-year-old torbie kitten. A torbie is the beautiful mix you get when you cross tortoiseshell coloring with a tabby’s stripes.

This lovely girl is currently in a foster home after having been at a local shelter for most of her life. Moving to a foster home has helped Marvella blossom into an adorable young lady with a hilarious personality. Although she is still adjusting to this new life, once she gets over her initial shyness, she quickly becomes super affectionate, playful and will happily give you her belly for rubs and scratches.

Marvella has microphthalmia, which means her eyes are smaller than usual and may appear cross eyed at times. This does not affect her health in any way and her vision is not impaired at all. It just makes her look extra cute and lovable when she looks at you.

Marvella would do well as both an only pet, or with another furry buddy to play with. She is easygoing, good with children and just looking to be a part of a loving family for the rest of her life.
