March 23, 2022: Bronxville High School introduced coaches and athletes at the annual Winter Sports Awards evening on March 1st and recognized Bronco athletes for their many accomplishments.
It was an exceptional season for the boys’ basketball team who won the Class B Section 1 Championship and made it to the regional finals for the first time in Bronxville history. The Bronxville track and field teams also had a stellar season. They won a total of 25 All-League awards, sent 11 athletes to the State Championships and had 13 athletes compete at Nationals. Also competing at the national level were the Bronxville boys’ and girls’ squash teams. At the championships held in March in Philadelphia the boys’ team placed 4th in Division 2, and the girls’ team placed 8th.
The Winter Sports Awards evening took place in early March and was videotaped in the high school auditorium. It can be seen on the Bronxville YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aG8jKaNILVY&t=450s.
